Day 25. The Knowledge Unlatched Problem

I've been learning a lot from all the Twitter traffic and blog posts coming from Punctum BooksOpen Book Publishers and others using the #KnowledgeUntrusted hashtag.

It's a great example of what's legal-but-wrong; from Punctum:


Yes, what KU is doing is possible given the existing licenses, but in terms of the overall publishing community it is clearly wrong. I learned a lot from all the pushback, and am so impressed with the projects like Open Book Publishers and the rest.
