Day 56. Now on to Native American tricksters!

I've more or less finished bookmarking the public domain African, African American (and Caribbean) public domain stories that I've found online... which means I can now move on to bookmarking Native American stories. Learning about the back-and-forth between the Brer Rabbit stories and Native American tricksters is one of my goals for this summer's project... and over the long term, I want to do lots more work on Native American trickster stories and also aetiological stories, all the animals.

So, here are my counts at the moment:
African 2889 stories
African American 1547 stories
Caribbean 1051 stories
Native American 617 stories

The stories I bookmarked today came from Ruth Benedict's collection of Cohiti tales:
